Pros

it is a steady job with study clients study income. I was hired at a weird time never trained thrown right on with people working and just watching them to learn. I was over a particular population. Just remember when the government funds program there is limitations possibly let’s say they need to go to rehab, but that means they’re not stable housing and you don’t get the funding for the program sometimes management doesn’t like not getting money for the program therefore there is a conflict between your clients and keeping your job

Cons

to no training team hierarchy and favoritism. The biggest problem I saw is that if I had to place a client into a recovery treatment program, it affected the government financing for our program because that would mean they’re not stable in their housing and that impacts how your boss possibly wants you to perform task that you think are very vital to their success and stability which maybe doesn’t compensate the program very well conflict in this area if you’re just new to the field, this would be a great place to start, but if you have worked with many populations and have a lot of experience this job will have you smacking your head with frustration praying to the Florida above to get fired because your ethics and standards are gonna want to help your client and it doesn’t help you when you do that. I don’t believe it is a real purposeful driving force of higher management to have this particular outcome. I think it’s the result of having so many managers so far apart that some may not see or have to address the impact of this issue and how to rises , they do address when the funding is low and trust me you’ll be in the office right away
