Pros
Overall, it was a great environment to work in. Everyone was very welcoming, and the culture felt very inclusive. The perks were great! We received a free product allowance, and they tried to be very transparent. My salary was decent, but I did have to negotiate for it. At the beginning of my employment, I felt that it was a very collaborative environment open to ideas, but that changed as time went on.
Cons
Executives and lower-level management did not appreciate receiving feedback. There was a general air of nepotism that seemed to favor those who were close to the founders despite their lack of professional experience. Overall, director and manager-level leaders were underqualified, overpaid, and embodied poor leadership qualities. There was also very little room for error. Punitive measures were often taken, and the culture shifted over time from one dedicated to developing a growth mindset to a stringent one.
