Pros

Overall, it was a great environment to work in. Everyone was very welcoming, and the culture felt very inclusive. The perks were great! We received a free product allowance, and they tried to be very transparent. My salary was decent, but I did have to negotiate for it. At the beginning of my employment, I felt that it was a very collaborative environment open to ideas, but that changed as time went on.

Cons

Executives and lower-level management did not appreciate receiving feedback. There was a general air of nepotism that seemed to favor those who were close to the founders despite their lack of professional experience. Overall, director and manager-level leaders were underqualified, overpaid, and embodied poor leadership qualities. There was also very little room for error. Punitive measures were often taken, and the culture shifted over time from one dedicated to developing a growth mindset to a stringent one.

Pros

Some coworkers that actually knows what they are doing.

Cons

Culty, cliquey, favoritism, pretentious without the substance throughout the upper management. I've seen some toxic company culture but this one really opened my eyes. If you are not founder's friends or someone's daughter, don't expect job security even if you are doing a good job. They'll just replace you in a heart-beat. Btw, most of the people are white white, the tiny bit of diversity is just so they can say they are "inclusive". And funny thing, they said they don't want to be known for their perfume because they are a skincare company, just to turn around and put the perfume front and center, just a quick example the upper management really don't know what they want.
