Pros

Fun place to work, depending on your GM they can be accommodating. Good benefits

Cons

No support, CEO’s will say they value DEI but in reality they do not. My store had racists and drug abusers, literally clocking into work intoxicated and stalking women employees, and nothing was done about it. Yes we reported it to HR and our GM and nothing was done. We did those surveys that were supposed to be overseen by corporate and reported everything and NOTHING was done. So if you want to sacrifice your humanity and possibly your safety then sure work here. But in my experience, overall, in the grand scheme of things, this company does not care about their employees at all. They only care about making money and looking good for the media. Their Sports Matters campaign doesn’t even go to teams that are truly struggling. My store donated to a funded youth team 3 years in a row, even when we pitch for teams that were on the brink of cancelling their programs.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO with 401k match is awesome

Cons

- Performance expectations were often unclear or inconsistently communicated, Feedback was reactive instead of timely and actionable. - Leadership quality varied dramatically by manager, with limited coaching or mentorship. - Constant shifting priorities without adjusting expectations or workload. - Psychological safety was lacking, Honest communication feel risky. - Leadership messaging around culture didn't match day-to-day reality. - Process was often valued more than impact or results. - Compensation well below market, w/little flexibility during negotiations. - I felt excluded from key conversations and opportunities that were important to my success.
