Pros

It can be a great job and is fun.

Cons

I used to believe OT was a good thing. I now know better to see it simply means understaffed. A job being fast-paced is one thing. A job under pressure really means disorganized. The mgmt will tell you things are always subject to change but the truth is they do not know what they're doing. They hired overseas teams to pick up slack but those teams only received 2 days of training. Then it fell upon the rest of the teams to fill in the blanks while doing their jobs along with everything else. They had meetings and asked what we needed. Training. We needed more training. Then told we wouldn't receive it. The idea that we could learn by listening then some how absorb other people's information through emissions and photosynthesis was how'd we'd learn. Oh. I hear the conversation on my team- ah. That's how you work the correspondence! Then in another meeting being told training costs time and money. Then ask if we were open to weekends but the "team" had issues with times due to conflicts at home, family and time. This was just 2 employees. We were hired to do a job. You're the mgmt. You set the times. But you said it costs time and money? You offer hours of OT? We're supposed to learn everything by the convenience and power of proximity? Then being told we could eventually get booklets to assist on procedures on how to work claims. If it happens most of us would never see it. The idea that PTO is there for us to use when we need it but having it denied a little consistently is pretty messed up. They will give you things beyond your job description and expect the team to assist you. The amount of meetings that mgmt consistently has to bring up things like gossip and backstabbing is so childish. There was a coworker who had received a potential promotion at the start of all this changes months back. Everyone knew they wanted more opportunity. They had two positions. They got approved and the new mgr held their paperwork the entire time during meetings. When they were told this and then watched them struggle to keep up with changes was heartbreaking. They loved that job. It's a shame but I've encouraged them to let their friend in upper mgmt know about this because they were heartbroken about it but how can a person go on with a position they were not signed up for or qualified to do if you dont train them? If you're going to work here. I'd really reconsider because they will just have you sit through a 2 week power point. Go to the office. Then grab your ankles and hope for the best. Good people are being lost because the mgmt doesn't know what they're doing. If you were to reach out to former employees- you'll see independently- the complaints are consistent. Seriously. Reach out to the former employees who resigned recently and do independent surveys on them- to be to be done outside of the business office managers. They tell you they'll assist you but they're always busy. Reconsider working here.

Pros

A lot of PTO that’s it

Cons

No holiday differential, no weekend differential, severely short staffed yet management does not approve OT, overworked to the max that burnt out is an understatement you’ll have to do the job of 3 people for the salary of 1, forced to rotate shifts since we are so short staffed so if you work at 5 am one then, the next you’ll be staying up till 5 am because they need you in night shift, no one listens to your concerns, extremely high turnover, absolutely no incentives (no bonus, no raises ever, but you will get $20 gift card if you work Christmas or thanksgiving (thanks, I’m so thankful)). The rumors are true, save yourself and stay far away.
