Pros

Pretty easy job. Not required to be expert in anything trainings to develop your career. ( up to certain point ) German course ( up to A2 provided by the company)

Cons

Tough if you're foreigner , whether you speak or not German. ( DHL LEJ based on East Germany). - your English its basically useless here. Night shifts ( little bit better due to 25% increase for night shift) , working on day shift 37hs you can get something around 1650€ net wage Base salary low - Best work place?? The biggest bull#$ I've heard and lived in a long time. - Flex contracts ( basically you own the company hours every week) , roughly 120hs a year. - if you wanna make a career you better make some good friends , and wait a whole life. - typical 'Meat Grinder' company .

Pros

Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

Cons

For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.
