      Worked in marketing, about which they are pretty clueless, so left to my own devices.

      Cons

      All a bit of an old boys' network. Definitely not a place for career women. Worked in marketing - was seen very much as a cost rather than an investment or ' the colouring in department'

      Pros

      Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

      Cons

      For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.

      Get entry level sales position. The company has great benefits..

      Cons

      You will be calling 80-100 times per day for months until you get promoted but it’s a fairly easy job. Can just be boring.
