Pros
This is a great company. Work involves High-Tech component level repairs. They operate in the renewable Energy (Wind Turbine Parts) and Medical Diagnostics Equipment. The work is very interesting as there is a super amount of variety. The Staff, especially the Tech's are small in number but friendly and willing to share their knowledge. Every day is interesting and they have some high-profile (blue-chip) customers. This is however not for the novice tech. If you know your component level repairs you will be fine, but if you don't know your basic electronics theory you will struggle. Dex are innovative and design their own test-kit. The management are supportive and friendly so long as you are willing to work hard there won't be any issues there. There are solid processes for test and safety. There is lots of overtime so good opportunity to earn extra money especially at months-end. Great company. Job security is good. I might consider going back again !
Cons
There are sometimes little by way of diagrams and data on the equipment given by the original equipment manufacturer. This can slow the repair process down and make things a little difficult when conducting a first time repair.
