The owner only works part-time if he is not out of town on his numerous vacations even during the busiest time of the year and has a habit of yelling at his employees because he has no management skills whatsoever. He is totally clueless regarding the daily operations and numerous problems with his company or maybe he really doesn't care while he shows obvious & blatant favoritism towards his much younger female employees including physical hugging in front of other employees. I guess he hasn't heard of the recent #MeToo movement. He should retire ASAP or sell the company to someone that invests real time and money in the company like he is unable to do. The dusty warehouse where all of the assembly and customer service employees work has no climate control other than a couple of ceiling space heaters and NO air-conditioning while the owner is in his nice and comfy climate controlled office. So, we all worked in temps from the 40-50sF in the winter and up to 90F in the summer. Almost all of the assembly workers don't speak English or the same language as their supervisor so how good can the quality control be? They try to hide the fact their transformers and timers are made in China, see their website, and their products are often not labelled accurately regarding safety certifications. Also, don't trust the HR person because she will stab you in the back to score points with the owner!
