Pros

Depends on which team you are you can learn a lot of valuable lessons - both good and bad. Overall friendly first impressions that fade away the more time passes. Complete Home Office or Remote work experience. Good entry level in the game industry - despite the high requirement for what you do. You can learn a lot and prepare for what the gaming industry is like. If you need to go out of your home for whatever reason you can catch up on your work or stay after hours to do so. They "promote" a good work-life balance, but frown upon when you do not stay for some overtime.

Cons

They underpay for what the job market gives. False promises that they don't deliver on, or take way too long to do so(over half an year). Small teams lead to a lack of established chances for career growth. Heavy competitive environment. You have to tread very lightly not to offend some career builder, which creates a toxic workspace. You have to be very careful what you say and to who you say it. Favoritism by managers. You will immediately know who is the "golden child" that can do no wrong. Typical corporate "we are family" mentality. Not afraid to drop you at the first chance they get if you say something negative, have a good work-life balance or go "above and beyond" of what is expected from you.

Treated with disrespect. Lied to about payment. Never received payment for work done. Ignored.
