Pros

Work with top of the notch system on the HPC market. Great Hardware and Software for HPC. Lots of challenge in the job. Good leadership, and allways there to listen and help you. If you work on GPFS/Lustre, HPC Storage and you know what is an interconnect and to solve problem on it and tcp/udp/ip, it's the perfect place to work !

Cons

You will have to solve problem on small and big system and you will have to like that ! In my case, I have done it in the past and I like that. Daily it can be hard to find the root cause of a given problem, but this is definitely what make this job interesting and give challenge. In this company you are here to find what's going wrong, how to fix it the right way, what is the bottleneck, find the best reachable performance and you will have to daily learn, read and listen to other people which can be there to help you. Perfect company if you want to improve your knowledge on Storage and Parallel Filesystem !

There WERE great people who worked there. But wow, they are dropping like flies. “Unlimited” PTO

Benefits are weak, pay is way below industry for engineers. Leadership is literally ripping out entire departments from the top down.A VP is fired, the new person starts, the new person fires the entire team and replaces it with their own people. A person will be let go and days later the replacement will start. It has impacted so many departments and isn’t stopping any time soon. I’ve already seen it happen in Product/engineering, Finance, HR, Recruiting and other outlying departments. Most people I’m aware of are actively looking because they know the goal is to basically rebuild the company with all new people. It’s chaotic, it’s toxic, RUN!
