Great Mission - Office Manager DC Vote Employee Review

Great mission, successful project with great impact in Washington DC. Very political.

It was a very small non-profit.

DC statehood is a good cause, but the pros do not outweigh the cons.

You have to make a minimum of $150 a night or else you will be fired. They advertise positions as $12-$16 an hour, but in reality you only make $12 unless you get promoted to a different position. There is no organizing involved, only fundraising. Extremely high turnover rate, all the other people in the same position quit in the small amount of time I worked there.
