Pros

When starting to work here people are very nice, and it is a easy job after you get to know the location of everything.

Cons

Full time opportunities are only available for assistant manager and up in most states as opposed to the job posting. We are always understaffed due to corporate set hour budgets, to the point where a single person gets schedule to close the whole store and will get yelled at for not being able to complete all the nightly tasks. The passive aggressiveness repeatedly makes the workplace feel hostile. The hours can be up and down, when holidays rolled around and sales were up they actually choose to cut hours even though profits are up and our store repeatedly won awards for being one of the "best", Current upper Management will always have a reason to cut hours at these stores to generate more profit. Customers are complaining about the store being empty during the holidays when we are packed but management doesn't care, repeatedly cut hours after store profits are up and we increased sales.

Pros

Good hours (While I was there) Flexible schedule Nice pay

Cons

A lot of decisions were made not by management, but by higher ups at the company. Our stock was also decided on by some sort of computer algorithm, so we’d often have stuff in the back we couldn’t put on shelves without stuffing them. Overall, I think I got out just in time because former coworkers told me the hours got so bad that people were forced to go on food stamps.
