Pros
A friendly, "family" culture is cultivated, which may or may not be appealing to someone. All employees are genuine people and there is always a sense of camaraderie and peer support. Under normal circumstances, engineers will be exposed to many different projects, expanding the technical horizons of most.
Cons
As a small company, the organization is missing middle management. The owners stretch themselves too thin trying to be involved with marketing, engineering, sales, and management. Unfortunately, every facet of the business suffers. Mistakes are repeated ad infinitum and there is no clear indication that things are getting better.
