      Pros

      None what so ever , unless you enjoy being bothered by recruiters for jobs outside of your location weekly. I think these people have emailed or called me for more than a year even after I requested they cease doing so.

      Cons

      They never return calls after getting your information . Every recruiter seems to be Indian or Pakistani and often have difficulty speaking or making their email information clear .They never follow up with you . They will always say that the hiring manager is interested in speaking with you this afternoon ( or in the next few days ). After that you will never hear back from them. Often when you call back their extension is no longer a working number.

      Pros

      - Immediate team is great people to work with through lead level. - Work gives fascinating insight into AI/LLM capabilities.

      Cons

      - Management is invisible and arbitrary - No advancement path. Originally "advancement" was through increased responsibility with no increase in pay, eventually even that disappeared. - Pay is well below reasonable for job requiring advanced degree and experience. This is the "shadow" workforce of training AI. - No job security. At some point, you will be released with zero notice, you'll learn your contract has not been renewed by finding on a Monday morning that you can't log in and then seeing an email that was sent after work hours the previous Friday saying nothing more than you must return their laptop. - Contributing to the further erosion of human work.
