Pros

Generally good people to work with

Cons

Inflexible working, Rigid hybrid policy and tragic HR department. Salaries are quoted as "above market rate" and are not. Generally bad renumeration scheme, little career progression, very tight budgets and old traditional ways of marketing. Overall lacking growth, energy or any signs of life.

Pros

Some people know what's happening around and understand the difficulties.

Cons

Below market compensation: Expect to be paid well below market rates while being tasked with the workload of 2-3 roles. Creep: Job descriptions are essentially meaningless. You’ll be saddled with "hidden duties" and grunt work that have no relevance to your actual job Micro-management: People from other departments frequently dictate and interfere. It’s an environment where the least qualified often have the most say. Cultural Toxicity: Passive-aggression and personal remarks are common. The atmosphere is unprofessional and lacks basic workplace boundaries. Stagnant Growth: Professional development is non-existent. Success and rewards are gatekept to a small inner circle. Misleading Benefits: The perks advertised during recruitment comes with ( * ). Don't expect to actually access them. No Accountability: Support from concerned people is virtually non-existent, they are more busy buttering SLT, shopping online and pass comments than do their actual work.
