Working at Cyd Innovation has truly restored my faith that there are still companies out there that genuinely care about their staff. Leadership is approachable, flexible, and consistently supportive, and the opportunities for both personal and professional growth are significant. The role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors and delivers real-world outcomes that benefit both communities and the environment. My position as Sales Team Lead is both challenging and rewarding. The fast-paced nature of the work means no two days are ever the same, keeping things interesting and dynamic. From attending trade shows and engaging with clients to coordinating impactful projects, the variety within the role is one of its greatest strengths. At no point have I felt undue pressure from upper management, nor have I ever been made to feel that my job was at risk. While the challenges of the role can be overwhelming at times, the support of the team behind you makes the progress you’re driving feel all the more rewarding. I have never worked with a Managing Director as caring and hard-working as Steven, and the HR team is exceptional — always checking in and asking if there’s anything they can do to support you, even in your personal life (which is almost unheard of). Cyd Innovation is also a Disability Confident employer, and they have created an environment where my health condition is not something to hide, but something to be acknowledged and understood. The level of support I’ve received since joining has been remarkable, and I feel incredibly grateful to have found this role.

The staff were friendly, supportive, and created a good day-to-day working atmosphere. HR was approachable and professional when dealing with any queries or concerns. Victoria is extremely supportive and caring. Some colleagues made the experience more bearable and provided a sense of camaraderie.

Extremely unrealistic sales targets, often set without any consideration of market conditions or available resources. Constant pressure from upper management created a high-stress environment, including direct and indirect threats of job losses if targets weren’t hit — not just for myself, but for others too. The culture was heavily fear-driven rather than supportive, with little room for genuine development or recognition of effort. Communication from leadership was often inconsistent, reactive, and lacked empathy.
