Pros

Some staff are friendly. Staff discount on bike parts.

Cons

Badly managed. Lack of benefits Toxic work environment. No training. Short staffed. Lack of provisions for cycling Dangerous vehicles for staff to drive. MD who does not manage. Management ignore bullying by managers.. Unpaid wages

Thank you for this review. The senior management team at Cyclehoop has seen some changes since this review was left, including a new Managing Director. The current team is focused on ensuring employee happiness and wellbeing is addressed. Work that has already been done in this area includes revising staff benefits and assessing training needs on an individual basis. Unfortunately, the claim of bullying was never formally raised. We take bullying seriously and would investigate any such allegations were they to be brought to our attention. With regards the comment on unpaid wages, this issue was raised by the employee after they resigned and settled directly before the review was left. Cyclehoop considered the issue closed, as there was no further action by the individual.

Pros

Nice people and that's it. I'm only filling this in to reach the word count.

Cons

Toxic management who don't care about their worker's well being or opinions. No career progression for anyone unless a senior person leaves. Biased management all across the board and they are not willing to change or be open to new ideas or consider any idea other than their own. Low pay for too much work. Doesn't practise what it preaches.

Thank you for your review. Since this was posted, Cyclehoop has made a number of changes to improve the experience of our employees. This has included the implementation of: - Staff surveys to encourage honest staff feedback - Performance management reviews - Salary reviews which have led to salary increases The management team has seen change with the current group focused on ensuring employee happiness and wellbeing is addressed. Management responded to the recent cost of living crisis by implementing a salary increase earlier than planned, to help staff through these changes.
