Pros

I’ve been at CyberFOX for almost five years now, and I genuinely love working here. The culture is awesome and it’s clear they take their time hiring the right people. Leadership really cares about doing the right thing and is super transparent, which makes a huge difference. One thing CyberFOX does really well is promote from within. They invest in their people and challenge us to grow, and I’ve learned more here than I ever expected thanks to great mentorship. There’s also a great mix of folks who’ve been in the industry a long time and people just starting out, which makes it a really supportive and motivating environment. It truly is a work-hard, play-hard place. We’re encouraged to push ourselves but also take breaks, have fun, and enjoy the people we work with. Everyone actually cares about each other, and that’s not something you find everywhere. I’m really grateful to be here and excited about what’s ahead.

Cons

Pros

Fast paced environment with good earning potential if you stick around long enough to see it. Some of the people I worked with were genuinely great.

Cons

CyberFOX recently received a large outside investment and from the BDR seat you feel that pressure right away. Targets are aggressive and when results aren’t where they want them, reps get let go with no warning instead of being coached up. The BDR and AE relationship is something to pay attention to if you’re considering this role. It felt more performative than actually collaborative. Personality fit carried same weight as performance in some cases. Management was the real issue. No feedback, no conversations about what you could be doing better, no improvement plan. Performance across the BDR team was somewhat consistent so decisions about who stayed and who didn’t felt random. If you were missing the mark on something you’d never know because nobody told you.
