Pros

This is a wonderful place to work-- the culture is incredibly supportive and everyone is truly invested in the success and reputation of the company and the individual employees. I truly feel that my co-workers are like "family." The work can be demanding at times, but hard work is recognized and there are many opportunities for advancement. I came into this company at an entry-level position and, from my first day on the job, I felt that I was truly appreciated for my skills and efforts and was more than just another "employee."

Cons

Sure, clients can be demanding (especially in this industry), so I think it's to be expected and, as a project manager, I think we experience the "front lines" of managing client demands. However, I feel that everyone here recognizes that, and there is a spirit of working together to find a solution to meet the client's needs while maintaining a really positive and supportive work environment for the entire project team.

Pros

Great team members and ability to work from home! This company is a great place to work as a medical writer -- whether you are just starting out at an entry-level position or in a more advanced role. Most if not all writers are working 100% from home but there are plenty of opportunities to collaborate with others so it doesn't feel like I'm isolated. I love that I'm always learning new things and, because of that, assignments are never boring.

Cons

Client pressures are certainly a factor but our project managers and content leads do a great job helping to manage client expectations and project timelines.

Relatively balanced workload, fully remote environment.

Cons

Confrontational/unprofessional employees not handled appropriately by management, attitude was to just "deal with it".
