Good, Bad, and Ugly - Project Manager Cushing Terrell Employee Review

Pros

Lots of good hard working and talented people. Some good relationships are still maintained after leaving.

Cons

Plenty of opportunities to work overtime to meet client schedules. Lack of work/life balance. There is a good message up front "Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated ". The Golden Rule, I think. The reality behind the scenes is that anything goes, like any other firm. If relationships matter, then why don't principals acknowledge e-mail sent that express thanks for the opportunity? It seems the relationships matter, until they don't.

Pros

- Good benefits - Flexibility (just be sure to communicate your needs) - Beautiful office locations

Cons

- Project Managers can be rude and demanding - Lack of training or introduction, especially for younger professionals who didn't go through their intern program (I wasn't even formally introduced to the office) - Poor communication with no big picture focus...lots of micro managing and unforgiving timecard policy
