Pros
The bartender program was an excellent mentorship for folks with little to no experience. Most everyone that worked there was really nice. It was not hard to get time off and have it respected. Regular customers were very cool
Cons
Customers frequently tipped none/low, even when we would go above and beyond for them. Confusing, disharmonious, and inconsistent service model. Customers were encouraged to order using QR code which tanked our tips even further and made it harder to serve the floor. Plus we were frequently asked to do things not in our job description like bus tables and serve chai/desserts because they can't keep people who's job it is to do those things
