Pros

The mission is good. There are some really good staff who want to fulfill the mission and truly care about the consumers.

Cons

Micromanaging CEO does not trust her staff to do their jobs. She vetoes decisions made by her own exec staff regarding things that she does not understand and keeps the company lagging behind the times. There is no praise or positive feedback for staff, lots of criticism. Even the best effort is not good enough. Buildings are poorly maintained. Staff are forced to share small offices. There is no encouragement to advance or better yourself. Lots of jealousy and resentment. Lots of favoritism. Inflexible work schedules.

Thank you for your feedback and review. We were so happy to read your positive comments regarding our mission and that you believe that our staff want to fulfill that mission and that they truly care about the people that we serve. Our growth has resulted in some of our staff having to share offices, but we try to make those situations be the exception rather than the rule. On many occasions our CEO has provided encouragement and praise to our staff; when needed our CEO will also offer constructive feedback. Unless you are a member of the Executive Staff, I'm not sure that an individual can state for a fact what goes on during the Executive Staff meetings. Again, thank you for your feedback

Pros

You work with some wonderful families and individuals, and it’s very valuable as a first job in teaching you how to manage your own schedule and adapt to tough situations.

Cons

Minimal, if any, training because you learn almost everything in the moment as it’s happening. Services for individuals varies widely because everyone is trained differently/learns from whoever they’ve shadowed so almost no one is on the same page. Grossly underpays their staff for the amount of care, effort, and work that goes into working in this field.
