Pros

Great exposure to big brands while having the luxury of working for a small company. The opportunity to work on fun innovation projects. Young, vibrant, innovative and fun staff. Very open working environment without a lot of guardrails - when you are good at your job leadership acknowledge it. It is a very fast paced environment for those who can handle it will thrive. Opportunity to travel all across the country and enjoy really good food.

Cons

A few bad apples in the bunch who have brought on a lot of negativity to the team - it took the leadership a long time to acknowledge and confront. Thankfully today we are in a better place with a good solid team.

Pros

CSSI is a fun and unique company to work for. The atmosphere is friendly, casual and collaborative. The work is interesting and challenging with both creative and culinary projects coming in daily. Whether it's menu development for a major chain or a video project for a new food line we are always on top of industry trends, guiding our clients (some of the biggest food manufacturers in the industry) to success. The owner is very passionate about the work that is done here and tries to harbor a positive work environment with a "play hard, work hard" mentality.

Cons

No workplace is ever perfect and there can be stressful times here, as with any deadline driven work. Team members can become stressed out due to difficult client demands and at times the team is spread a bit thin. Team members need to feel more comfortable reaching out for help when needed and also trust themselves enough to know they are doing a good job and that they are appreciated.
