Pros

The people you work with are great and the training is thorough and informative.

Cons

The management is extremely unprofessional and rude. They talk down to anyone that doesn't kiss up to them and try calling you out in front of customers (i.e yelling across the bar that you need to come now while in the middle of speaking to guests). The trainers loudly said in front of customers that I should not need recipe cards on the first night of service, took the drink I was making out of my hands, then proceeded to use the cards themselves literally all night. Mind you, their whole job is knowing these drinks that they supposedly have been making for years, that they expected us to memorize in and out but do not apply these standards to themselves. They put me on as a server on OPENING NIGHT after doing bartending training for weeks, Said they would "teach me" after letting them know I hadn't served in years, only to fire me that same day for putting a tray of glasses down to avoid dropping them on customer. They pick and choose who to discriminate against, telling people their outfits are not appropriate and sending them home while others are wearing the exact same if not worse. My one night behind the bar I was put on as a "floater", jumping in when needed and talking to guests. They did not let me make one drink, literally taking the glasses out of my hand, and then complained (to coworkers not me) that I did nothing but talk to guests the whole time...as in doing the job I was assigned to do. Just really weird vibes and very uppity rude management who think they're all that. They did the same to other coworkers, who coincidentally were also not white blonde girls but black and asian, who did not even last a week due to the same criticisms and nitpicking. The rude tones, looks, and the acting like a server trainer is the ultimate life goal is just weird. Never had such a bad experience with a supposedly professionally run restaurant.
