Worst experience in my career. This company doesn't care about anyone but themselves. Borderline nepotism. - Anonymous employee Cryptonary Employee Review

Pros

Initially, you feel empowered as you are given what you thought is the freedom to mould and shape a team.

Cons

Management lacks cohesiveness and direction of where the company is going. As soon as someone is seen as not performing as expected in their eyes or makes a mistake, out you go! Poor planning and non-existent communication with employees. The founders themselves have difficulty communicating honestly and openly with each other and have exclusivity when it comes to discussing employee performance behind their backs instead of thinking of ways to resolve it together. I've witnessed employees getting fired every week due to a sudden "lack of budget." Honestly, I believe this is due to poor planning on the management's side when it comes to hiring. Don't expect to build a career with this company. There have been no less than 5 employees who've come and gone within the span of a few weeks. Regardless of your position, you will be offered a self-employment contract that offers no benefits or holidays. As much as they market flexible working hours, you are expected to be at reach 24/7 including weekends. The fact that they offer self-employment contracts for positions that you would usually have a "normal" contract for is already reason to question their stance on how much they actually care. Employees get zero protection.

Pros

At Cryptonary, I have a lot of freedom, and the other employees value my opinion, because of this it's fun to create content for their platform The company allows me to work remotely, which is great for a person who travels and is active in the cryptocurrency and NFT space. Everyone is honest with you and the culture at the company is great. I have especially met like-minded people and have a lot of fun on Zoom calls and chats with other employees

Cons

For me, it's not a standard 9-to-5 job, and that's fine because I do not mind working in a company that does not fit the norm, but if you feel like you are more of a 9-to-5 person, then maybe it's not for you.

Pros

The team is diverse and has potential.

Cons

1) Lack of communication 2) A clause in the contract allows the company to ''terminate your employment with immediate effect without a cause'' during the 60 day probation period. I was let go within three days of starting that job. No one discussed with me any reasons. I came back from lunch, and all my accesses were taken away. Then I received a phone call from HR informing me that I am being let go.
