Pros
It was a good place when I joined a few years ago. Very supportive and collaborative people, a nice vibe in the office, and lots of exciting opportunities to work with clients.
Cons
Unfortunately, it's not the same place anymore. Very limited opportunities to get promoted or receive a salary increase. No matter how good your performance review is, they might still say “budget is tight” yada yada. The UK cost of living increases every year, but only a small number of people are able to get the basic increase. And people are definitely underpaid. Lots of redundancies, hence the workload is heavy for everyone. But again, no future plan, no backup, and less and less support. Pressure on juniors to do tasks without proper training. And no one can help because no one has free time. Internal time has become very restricted, so no time to develop yourself or support the team. And the “strike” things also feels like it’s being managed the wrong way.
