Pros
There are several opportunities for both personal and professional growth within the organization. This company has provided me with a plethora of learning opportunities, from certifications, to online education for growth within the industry. Additionally, the close knit community provides a work environment which also embraces the family life. The flexibility and willingness to work with me when I had family things requiring my attention make me feel like my family is also an important priority of the organization. Due to the smaller size of the company, the team members know each other on a close level and it provides a family like feel within the work place. There are plenty of opportunities to be challenged at work. Due to the evolving nature of the organization, we are often times provided opportunities for new and challenging projects which allow for the demonstration of creativity and new ways of thinking.
Cons
When first beginning with the company there are fewer PTO days, but the organization is flexible and often willing to work with you on making up hours, rather than taking PTO for appointments.
