Pros
For a clojure job, this place is great. Cool tech, solid codebase with not a lot of tech debt, fairly willing to experiment. As a company, they have excellent benefits (1 month paid leave for dads when spouse gives birth) and salary, and are pro-lgbtqa+.
Cons
They hired a lot in 2022 and most of the people they hired were cut in 2023. They also cut a director of engineering and a staff engineer in 2023. When they merged with Reveal in 2024, they cut more engineers hired in 2022, leaving only those who'd been with the company 3+ years. They also cut folks across the company from every corner, some of who had helped found the company in 2018.
