Pros
The community teams, operations team, and events team work tirelessly to keep members happy - and keep the place above water. There are many wonderful, talented employees at Cross Campus.
Cons
When I started working at Cross Campus, what drew me in went far beyond what was offered in our employee package. There was an indescribable sense of community when you walked in the door. As an employee you knew you were part of something bigger than just operating and selling workspace - you were providing an environment that truly helped members blossom. The executive and management team were excited about their work and what they were building - that trickled down to the rest of the employees. The energy was vibrant. Unfortunately, that excitement and vibrancy, for many, is now gone. There have been some recent changes in the executive and management team - and Cross Campus now runs like a greedy company. Focused on the dollar signs with little regards for the community, members, and employees it loses along the way. You'll know that from the minute you sit down for your first interview. Don't be surprised if you spot a member, the midst of their work day and in front of other members, being accused of "not following the rules" by the CEO. You can imagine that if he is willing to talk to members like this is a public area that the conversations that happen behind closed doors with employees are awful and unjust. There is very little room for growth at Cross Campus. At one new location a year, few new positions are created. Most people are given new titles to appease them to stick around - although the actual position, responsibilities, and pay rarely change. It took me a long time to write this review because I didn't want it to come from a place of anger. Instead, it's comes from a place of honesty. A lot of the employees that work here are just starting out, in their early 20's, and sometimes don't have the experience to catch the red flags. Hopefully, this helps.
