Corporate was awesome and helpful. Great benefits. The corporate accounting team has a huge wealth of knowledge especially the senior corporate accountant.
Cons
The subsidiary I worked with needed substantial work—The manager had absolutely no idea how to run a business and was completely unprofessional in so many aspects. The manager is overly dramatic about everything, claiming to have time for anything, works 12 hour days, yet never seems to actually finish anything, often letting huge items slip through the cracks, often claiming to never receive important documents that, remarkably, everyone else has received. Often claims to never have been taught how to perform certain tasks that everyone else seems to have been taught, etc. The manager is never the one to blame or take accountability for anything; whatever it is, it is never her fault, always something, or someone else’s fault. I really could not believe my eyes and ears at the lack of empowerment. Warning: if you see this job posted, do not take it, run.
