Pros

Built strong friendships with supportive and driven colleagues. Developed valuable, industry-relevant skills quickly. Gained cross-functional experience by collaborating with multiple teams.

Cons

Pay is well below national market rates. I was hired as a junior but quickly took on senior-level work. I was happy to step up and performed well in that role. At my performance review, after consistently delivering at that level, I asked for pay that matched the responsibilities I was already handling. The response from HR focused on the importance of the mission and suggested that if compensation was a priority, this might not be the right place. The mission matters, but it does not replace fair pay, market alignment, or clear growth opportunities.

A team of forward thinking operators and a high accountability and performance bar. An incredible product with raving customers. High collaboration and a focus on doing the important things, right. A CEO focused on culture and performance. Growth.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

-A handful of talented individual contributors who genuinely try to deliver despite the environment. -Opportunities to take on responsibility due to constant turnover.

Cons

-Leadership is unqualified, insular, and routinely makes incorrect assumptions behind closed doors. These decisions have directly contributed to repeated layoffs and ongoing instability. -Success is not based on performance or capability — it is tied to proximity to leadership and the willingness to appease them. Those who challenge decisions or raise concerns are sidelined, while those who engage in performative agreement advance. -Delivery direction changes constantly, often without rationale, alignment, or communication. Priorities shift week to week, making it nearly impossible to execute effectively or maintain momentum. -A culture of micromanagement, including monitoring badge swipes in and out of the office. -“Unlimited PTO” is not truly unlimited, and the company’s claims of flexibility contradict mandated in‑office days, set working hours, and unachievable expectations. -Very political environment for such a small organization.
