Pros

100% paid medical.

Cons

This is, by far, the most unpleasant employment I have ever had. I worked here for about a year, and during that time, saw 8 employees come and go, suffice it to say there is very high turnover here. I would attribute this to the extremely unprofessional and toxic environment that exists here. The former reviewer is correct on many points, that still apply. Management is not only verbally abusive, to their own family members, let alone employees, but are also completely uncouth, unprofessional even. They try to discourage employee interaction due to gossip etc. but are the worst perpetrators of this themselves. I was subjected to hearing their damaging and ill-mannered opinions regarding others in the office or former employees without any chance of escape, on a regular basis. It was highly uncomfortable and I found it unbelievably classless. The job itself was unsatisfactorily explained/presented during my interview, which I quickly discovered upon starting there. I was given incomplete and unacceptable instruction and constantly expected to be able to perform without any prior training, not to mention the job duties were unrealistically presented to me during interview as well. I would say I was actually presented with about 65% of the actual job I would end up being expected to do, which also, I should mention, was constantly changing due to management needs and whims, and not just my position, either. There was a constant stream of interoffice memos going out regarding office procedures for all employees, on an almost daily basis. The benefits I cannot say one way or another about, as I never used any of them. The health plan is paid 100%, and you do get vacation after your 90 days. I also believe they offer tuition reimbursement, I was told this during the interview, but again, I felt due to the negative and stressful work environment, the benefits did not outweigh this, and moved onto better opportunities before being able to utilize any.

Pros

My supervisors were extremely helpful throughout my internship. My coworkers were always kind and open to teaching me more about workers' compensation. Overall, I learned more about healthcare at CRF than I would have at almost any other company.

Cons

I wish I had been able to stay longer and learn more!
