Ok, Could be better - Designer Creative Producers Employee Review

The best thing about working at Creative Producers Group and the Nitrous Effect at large is the people. I have found everyone to be positive, and very willing to connect and help one another. I believe that my boss and team all care about me as a person, and want to see me succeed within this company. I frequently take part in discussions detailing how my work as individual, of my team, and of the whole company is important to our short and long term growth. I enjoy the work I do here, and the valued feeling I receive makes caring about the work you do all the more easy. I have gained valuable experience and skills, as well as a great deal of professionalism from working at CPG.

I started out at Creative Producers Group as an intern, and through this I have most likely had a different experience from a brand new employee coming in. But my main complaint is that I had basically no onboarding when transitioning roles. I had to guess and correct my way through small but important tasks that were overlooked in training. Even a co-worker, when I had to ask him to help place a long-distance call because I did not know the code, remarked that, "it's okay, you haven't been onboarded properly." Asking for more formal training is often an awkward conversation when you aren't even sure exactly what you are supposed to know at this point, and will need to know in the future. Also, this is not applicable to my position, but it is common opinion among the rest of the staff that the benefits are lacking.

Everyone was super nice and made it feel like you were part of the family.
