Pros

There were some smart people and decent clients but they are all gone.

Cons

A company run on arrogance, and very little else. It's a fear-driven culture where everyone trembles at the thought of having to interface with the owner; which is fair because the owner is one of the meanest people you'll ever have the displeasure of doing business with. Everybody needs a job but it is not worth what you would have to go through.

Thanks for complimenting the staff. I do think this is the best staff that we’ve ever had, and everyone is very smart and capable. Clients come and go, but our current clients put us on track for a record year this year, so I’m very excited about that. On the operations, we can always improve, but fear and mean are the last adjectives that any other person has used for Craig. He’s a very approachable person, and employee feedback seems to reinforce this. The bottom line is, you were not happy here and after a year and a half of working here with a required weekly meeting, you showed up 4 times. You flew to San Francisco for a week and didn’t inform anyone for PTO, or approval for remote work, and we learned by having to call you and ask where you were. Your work product quickly went down hill along with your attitude. I wish this went differently, but I hope you find happiness in your next position.

Pros

-Opportunities to use and develop skills -The company does host holiday parties and tries to make employees feel appreciated on their birthdays, but there's room for improvement in the overall culture. -The AP + Receivable and office managers here are very friendly and are nice people here that try to make you as comfortable as possible -The president is generally affable but can have his moments.

Cons

-Highly conservative and religious environment. -Lack of diversity in the small team (could be contributed to talent pool, who knows). -Potential for discomfort or hostility if beliefs don't align (you might be baited & scrutinized, I was baited then screamed at for an opposing view though want to say I did eventually get an apology during my exit interview which I could appreciate). -Had to endure a microaggression although it may just be contributed to ignorance. (being called articulate as the only young Black woman in the workplace is not the compliment one thinks it is).
