You will have incredible access to materials and resources. Public school students/teachers and communities definitely benefit from the projects and relationships with artists.

There is no work during certain periods of the year. Admin will not proactively communicate about what your prospects are for the year -- which, even if there's unpredictability with NY arts in schools grants, is disheartening. Seniority definitely helps.
