Cons
Cray has been growing significantly in the last few years, but the company business processes are obsolete and difficult to change. Perhaps this is because Cray has a lot of people with many years working in the company that want to keep things as is. Any new idea to improve a process or make a change is met with huge resistance, and at the end, very little is accomplished, many people, including those who resist change, would rather keep of fighting fires, rather than fixing the core issues. Additionally, the people at Cray have a very hard time making decisions, even small decisions are discussed by many people, and more are added after each meeting. Discussions take weeks and hundreds of emails.
