Pros
Learned a ton from the business system. Enjoyed my co-workers - a real misery loves company type of environment.
Cons
Way too much bureaucracy. I was a business unit executive at one of their sites. The company only cares about the here and now, makes future plans but then discards at the first sign of adversity. Doesn't care about customers in the least bit, only cares about what they can grab right now. Growth strategy is last in company values and usually is just thrown out the door. Over burdened with reporting up to corporate, daily walk thrus, weekly reports, monthly reports, endless action plans. The beatings will continue until moral improves type of environment. Everything Crane touches it shrinks the sales.
