Pros
Craft's Framingham office is full of great, hard-working people. Every day, people are giving 100% and more. Everyone (excluding upper management) is friendly and approachable; I'd work with many of them again in a heartbeat, at a different company.
Cons
- Craft's Framingham office, by far has the most toxic environment I have ever encountered. I've worked in a couple larger agencies in the area; this agency tops them all. -Since July 2016, the office has lost approximately 40-50 of their original 100 staff members, which says a lot. -Upper Management is aggressive, hostile and unapproachable. When I witnessed a 'dressing-down' of a senior creative in a staff meeting, it was the final straw for me. - No merit-based increases, bonuses, or any incentives. I also found that many positions equal to mine at other companies in the area all had salaries 15-25% higher. - Project Managers worked to the bone, working long hours as glorified data-entry professionals due to the insane amount of project tracking software required to manage a job. If Craft could track how many times you inhale and exhale per job task, they'd track it. This leaves little time to actually do quality work. - This is a production agency, so any creative role is essentially mechanical art and versioning of artwork and creative concept done by outside agencies. You’re essentially a pixel-monkey, no matter what level creative you are. So if you’re looking at a creative role here, be aware of that.
