Craft PR: small but mighty! - Senior Account Manager Craft Public Relations Employee Review

Pros

Craft is without a doubt among the best agencies I've ever worked at - we are a small and nimble team chock full of big agency thinking. The autonomy we're given feels great - as does producing award-winning work for some of the top brands in the country! Among some of the perks are unlimited vacation and the flexibility to work from home, ensuring our minds are fed creatively and allowing us to constantly bring fresh ideas to work.

Cons

Inevitably, at a smaller agency, you take on - and will be expected to take on - a lot more (which may be outside of your comfort zone). This isn't necessarily a con, though - it forces you to grow and expand as a practitioner!

Pros

Previously having worked at a global agency and then on the corporate side - I have to say, I feel really lucky to have found a place like Craft. The agency has the benefits of being a small, start-up company but definitely does not lack in big thinking or awesome clients. It offers employees the best of both worlds. With a focus on people and a strong corporate culture, Craft also offers awesome perks like unlimited vacation, work from home opportunities, and a curiosity fund that encourages employees to get out of the office and learn something new that's of interest to them.

Cons

Being a smaller agency means Craft has smaller, more dedicated client teams. As such, there can be situations where employees may need to complete some work that's outside of their job level (i.e. continuing media relations at every level, vs. it not being a focus past the manager level at other agencies). However, because we are a team that's focused on delivering the best work for our clients, this never really becomes an issue. Everyone is more than happy to chip-in to get the work done.
