Pros
I really enjoy working for this company. One of the best parts is the diversity of work I get to do—working across departments and supporting the C-Suite executives while also taking on event planning, HR, marketing, and more. The people here are amazing—hardworking, kind, and incredibly capable. There isn’t much bureaucracy, so things are very fast-paced, which I find exciting.
There are also great perks, like quarterly staff happy hours, holiday gifts, free lunches when in the office, and activities planned by the Fun Committee (like a step challenge this past summer that almost everyone participated in). My manager has also been very supportive, even providing me with professional coaching sessions, which have been invaluable for my growth.
Cons
This company moves fast, and so does everyone in it. It’s not explicitly expected, but the culture often makes it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You need to be proactive about taking breaks or asking for help when things get too hectic.
Additionally, there aren’t a lot of clear processes or policies in place, which can be frustrating—especially for new employees. The employee handbook is outdated, and it would be helpful to have more structured resources to answer common questions.
