Pros
You are given a decent amount of autonomy to learn and try new things. There are some managers who are genuinely good people but, it's impossible for you to find that out before working here.
Cons
They will try and pressure you and use your peers to pressure you to work after hours with no additional pay. Executives are old-school in all the worst ways and bad behavior is apparently protected by HR. Culture of nepotism. The best way to move up is to to move in with the family. Even then you better be a straight, white man cause leadership still appears to show no respect for anyone else. Management is largely incompetent throughout the organization. Health insurance is incredibly expensive. Only 5 company holidays, low PTO. 401K match is practically non-existent and even that crumb doesn't vest for several years. Pay is below average.
