Pros
-starting salary is good for an entry level position
-free lunches once a month
-work from home flexibility
Cons
-high turnover rate
-I was not given training on the system I was "validating." The expectation was for me to click around in the system until I found the area that was being tested, then I was expected to write a document that proved it was updated correctly. The first part took days sometimes
-All employees sit at a desk with cubicle walls higher than eyesight. Felt very boxed in, atmosphere does not encourage team work and group discussion on projects
-You spend the entire day staring at 2-3 computer screens
-You work with different clients Covex acquires so you never know what the next project will bring. Gaps between projects can last a few weeks to a year. During downtime when you aren't on a project, you are allowed to read books or work on internal projects as they come up, but it is a lot of free time.
-When you are on projects, overtime is expected and not compensated. The phrase passed around the office is "Hurry up to wait."
-Senior management as a whole. No guidance, no training, and no ability to move up and advance with the company
