The primary benefits of working at Coventry are related to field case management work- flexibility and ability to manage your time well. They also had reasonable benefits though their medical/dental networks are limited.
Cons
The computerized billing system for case management is unweildy and time consuming. Their quality review system is arbitrary and bonuses are tied to the quality scores. Also, they will transfer cases that have been poorly managed, but then cut your quality scores due to work the previous case manager did or didn't do. Your have a few working days to get your billing into the system. If your computer breaks or the system is nonfunctional, it is difficult to get your billing in. One person did not get a replacement computer for three weeks, her billing was supposed to have been put in by support. However, all the billing was not put in and then she was counselled regarding too few hours. Also, training is computer based, difficult to follow, and not comprehensive. New employees have to depend on co-workers often taking hours of their time to learn how/what to do as managers are overwhelmed. If your co-workers aren't helpful, you are in deep trouble.
