Pros
They pay on time and I worked with some good field people, most of whom are gone now. There is really nothing positive to say since the merger.
Cons
Now that I found a much better job I can't believe I put up with this place as long as I did. They try to squeeze every penny out of the investigators by having them do everyone else's job. You can expect to have to do alive and well checks (not previously in the job description for surveillance investigators and shouldn't be part of their jobs) and get in only 15 minutes of work some days. Completely chaotic system of having 10 or 12 different people giving you assignments all over the place. Completely outdated and impossible online reporting system that will take you hours and hours to figure out. You don't get paid for that time, of course. You have to do your own pre-lims which you don't get paid for. Investigators are expected to stay in contact with the clients while in the field – absolutely ridiculous. You end up wasting so much time getting their stupid precious exquisite time shots and then updating three or four people during the day there's really no time to do the job. But no one cares about doing a good job anymore anyway. And after all that you get a very small paycheck for your trouble. Beyond a joke. This is the last place you want to apply if this is the kind of work you're looking for.
