Covenant Health (Texas)

Engaged employer

This employer does try to do things right. I have enjoyed working here overall! - Nurse Practitioner Covenant Health (Texas) Employee Review

Pros

Concerns are listened to and addressed in a timely manner. Everything I have really felt was important to me as a provider has been taken into consideration. I am not micro-managed and have been shown respect and kindness by my coworkers and managers. I work fairly independently, which I enjoy very much.

Cons

Covenant doesn't really know what to do with nurse practitioners. It would be nice to not be called a "midlevel" provider, which carries with it a negative assumption that I provide a mediocre level of care. I would also appreciate the ability to have access to physician parking in the garage, as has become standard in most bigger cities. I am treated more like an employee and less like a professional in this setting, which has been an adjustment.
