As an IC if your willing to work and haven an open schedule, you can get the work. Job prices are good to very good. Staff is usually pretty great. Office staff is inclusive.

Office staff could communicate better, has gotten better over the years, No benefits for Ic drivers.

I was a 1099 independent contractor. Plus is the independence, work alone, no supervision and dispatchers and office workers are all very friendly and easy to get along with.

Pay was good at first but seemed to get to be less and less per run as time went on. You're paid by the delivery but they claim to not know the pay until after you deliver which is clearly a lie. Who takes a job without knowing what they're going to get paid?
