Pros

They hire the best people, their hiring process is long and extensive, they recruit the best on their field. Really good products.

Cons

Expect to be brain washed, they really want you to absorb, adhere to their values, and will evaluate how well you follow them. Mission and values are reinforced before meetings, they have their own meaning for concepts such as Continuous Improvement. It could be a very frustrate working environment. All the approvals go through the CEO and has the last word on everything: an expansion, name and price of a new product, hourly workers increase, site decoration, offices setup. Of course you will be held accountable for somebody else's decisions. Micromanaging is the culture and starts at the top, you are overseeing somebody else instructions. Be ready to keep a record of your daily activities, you are going to be asked for a weekly report and checklist besides any other one you have to prepare. They don't trust you so you need prove of how you are using your time at work. Company doesn't like to keep it simple. Everything is transferred to SAP but multiple built-in systems are in place, and a hard copy of your work is required, so you do everything twice. Company likes to see you sweating your butt off and simplifying things would prevent you from hard working. If you are not sweating or stress out, you are not working. I had the impression the organization doesn't like you to be happy at work. You are expected to work long hours and to put company before anything else, salary employees have a lot on their plate. I saw how one Master Planner, one MFG Mgr, one ISO Leader, one IT Infrastructure Leader, one HR Manager, one Benefits Coordinator, and two Finance Directors walked away in less than two years; CEO yells at people, trash talks, undermines, and embarrasses them in public. Company takes a very good care of hourly people, though. If you like to be told what to think, how to behave, being micromanaged, and working long hours, this is your place to work.
