Pros
- Discount - Free full size products - Flexible hours - Great insurance - Vacation/ sick time available - Ability to do multiple tasks daily, not chained to a register - Points system on products that allowed you to redeem for actual items (ex: ipods, cameras, vacuums etc) - Ability to learn a lot about products
Cons
- Management was typically chosen out of necessity, so people who got the positions were usually the ones who've been there the longest, but we're not always the most qualified or capable - Minimum wage job with yearly raises (which were a complete joke. 10c - 25c per year was pretty common) - Company believes free products make up for sub-standard pay - Being short staffed is a very common issue
