Pros
I feel like the Koreans who run this place dont really know what the average pay rate in the US is, so I am very fairly compensated for my role. The insurance is cheaper than other places I have worked, but a lot of things are not covered. There are currently two major options, a PPO and an HSA, but they do not give you an HSA company contribution. They provide free lunch on Fridays. They offer company outtings a few times a year like a picnic and christmas party.
Cons
where do I start? I mentioned the koreans run this place. It must be very different in asia, because Koreans come out to the production floor and scream at people. I've never seen that in my 17 years of working. Its just funny because the people they are screaming at done speak any english! So, its a bunch of koreans yelling at a bunch of indian/nepal people and no one knows what anyone is saying. There is a L'oreal clique that runs things there. For the most part they are good people and i like all of them personally, but they cannot understand that this place is not L'Oreal so we have policies in place that dont make sense but it was "how loreal did it." Things are constantly changing here - which frustrates everyone. Basically, there are Koreans here who think things should be done one way (which isnt like any other american operated business) and the American management who thinks things should be different. Bottom line, I regret accepting a job here. I know everyone "hates" their job at time, but this place is really depressing.
