Pros

You get a paycheck every two weeks.

Cons

Where to even begin? The VP constantly belittles and makes fun of employees that wear their masks to protect themselves from COVID-19. He insists COVID-19 isn't real and presents his opinions as facts. Toxic work environment that the branch manager supports. Nepotism is rampant and if you're related to the branch manager you move up and get special privileges. There is no diversity to speak of and the VP has made it clear that he thinks of women as second class citizens. Projects team isn't much better and the manager has no backbone to speak of and never stands up for his team. The corporate office needs to seriously send in an undercover HR rep to see the circus that this place is. Extremely high turnover.

Pros

Having worked for Cortech since it's inception and then retired in 2014, I believe that I am in the position to give a fair evaluation of the company. One caveat that I must state though, is the fact that Cortech was acquired by DXP Enterprises since my retirement. What changes have been instituted in the sales process I cannot comment on. I say this due to the fact that Cortech is a Sales Distribution company and all other departments are for the support of sales; and this is coming from the ex-CFO. Now to the review......Cortech has probably the one most diverse pump and process equipment product lines in the industry. While it might overwhelm some, a competent sales professional will flourish in this arena. The sales staff has been overseen by Marc Sanchez for the past 15+ years and he is one of the most competitive/efficient sales professionals I have known. You, as a new salesperson, will receive good training and will be held accountable for results. I consider this all as a positive if you want to work for a successful company. If you are a successful Industrial Sales Professional, I definitely recommend giving Cortech Engineering a serious look.

Cons

Not a negative regarding Cortech Engineering, but I am not in the position to review the company in areas that may have changed since the acquisition by DXP Enterprises.
